Silver Fern Ventures has both WCB and Corporate Liability Insurance. We ensure that all who work on the job site are covered by WCB. It is vital to us that your project be handled with the utmost professionalism and care.
Can I live in my home during a major renovation?
This is dependent on the scale and type of renovation work involved. In some cases, there have been smaller-scale renovations, such as an upper floor renovation, in which the family was able to live on the main floor and basement while the renovation was taking place. In other cases, a larger renovation may require that the gas, water and electricity be turned off in the home during part of the process. Or perhaps a single-story home is being turned into a two-story home, and the roof must be removed and re-designed, and replaced. In more extensive cases such as these, or when safety is an issue, we require that the inhabitants move out of their home during all or part of the renovation period.
How long will my project take?
There are many variables that should be taken into consideration, such as: the scale of the project, its complexity, and availability of product you wish to include. Therefore, each custom project is uniquely different, depending on these variables. Before commencing a project, we always discuss the details with our client(s), and always offer an estimated time of completion based on the scope of work.
When can you start?
We work on an ever-changing schedule and will do our best to accommodate clients start date requests.

How do we hire you?
Give us a call or fill out our Quote Request form. You can expect a call back from us by the next business day to set up a meeting. Regardless of whether you are renovating an existing property or in the process of building a new house; our first meeting is at your home. The primary focus of this meeting is to develop a clear picture of your personal preferences and to create a comprehensive “wish list” for your project. We will take measurements of your home and the information from this meeting will be used to formulate a custom design personalized for you.
